These
sculptures are planetariums that are constructed from various
used objects and found containers. Each Sleepwalker
projects the Western constellations on a celestial map of
either the Northern or Southern hemisphere. Every container
sits on a turntable that is driven by a hobby kit motor and
a rubber band. The clear light bulb inside each container
casts an image of its filament through its perforated surface
to prodcue a camera obscura effect. They were exhibited
in the Traveling Scholars Show in the Boston MFA in 2007.
